Driving Lights Questions
Hi guys,
I am a brand new proud owner of a 2004 Mini. This model is a non S model. I love the driving the car and it's a blast to drive. I thought nothing compared to my previous car (01 Miata), but this thing just as fun and I think it more comfortable.
Anyways, I have a question about driving lights. I am looking at driving lights, well more on the aftermarket since the oem lights are too rich for my blood.. I was looking at the PIAA and KC brand for my Mini.
However, I am looking for recommendations and pointers on what to look for and such..
Thank you in advance.
Jay

It sounds weird, but I got a really nice set from 4wd.com. The are the procomp driving/spot lights for 19.99 apiece. I had a set in my jeep for years. I am going to do a write-up on mine once I get the HID h3 bulbs put in, including putting an after market switch in the factory switch box, and building my own light brackets.

driving lights ???
I have a pair of PIAA lights on the grill - they came with the H3 ultra white bulbs and were very nice. With factory fogs, factory xenons, and these - it lit up the night like I had flood lights going. However, I just swapped out the H3 ultra whites with MTEC 3330 yellow ions in the driving lights and the H11 fogs and really like them - especially in foggy/rainy weather - no snow in SoCal (not much rain or fog either). The mtecs I found for $15 a pair.
The PIAA's may be a bit pricey, however, the light patter you get with them, even with non-piaa bulbs is great!
