Is the R56 LCI clear tail light lens removable?

When I Plasti-Dipped my tail light rings I didn't notice if the clear lens is removable. It is not listed on Real OEM as a separate piece, so I suspect it is a permanent part of the tail light assembly.

Does anyone know for sure?

Well, that is crappy Thanks for the information.

I saw on RealOEM that a MINI blackout set appears to be available. I sent emails to three vendors, but haven't heard back from them. A Google search for the part number(s) turned up nothing.

Most likely to keep moisture - and condensation - out.

I tried the same thing since I wanted to black-out the chrome cup. I agree, it looks some some sort of hardened glue that would break before it softened up.

You need a whole new taillight if you don't want the egg yolk look.
