Hi all you Mini people-

I have an 06 MCS that is Hyper Blue with a white roof. I'm thinking about painting the calipers so that it adds a little "Sizzle" to the car. What colors go best with the blue?

 

I would say roof color to match wheel paint, then base car color for calipers. But if you do black/gunmetal wheels then do white on the calipers would be a interesting look but hard to keep clean

 

With your car color combo, I hate to say it, because it seems to be the standard, but I would think you would have to go with red. And of course there's always blue to to the match color thing......wait on second thought go blue, that way no-one can accuse you of trying to do the "Fake Big Brake" thing.

 

Red, of course, is very popular. However, if I ever get around to getting a set of StopTech's, they're gonna' be black. Way cool. No need to shout that I have big brakes to every yahoo on the road. Those who know what they're looking at will know.

 

Matching the body color blue might be cool if I can find a close match. Is it even possible to get a quart of Hyper Blue? Maybe from a paint shop or supplier.
