Chrome tail light covers??

I was considering adding the chrome tail light covers to my 2003 Cooper. They are those chromed plastic covers that attach with the 3M tape. Has anyone added these? If so, how's the fit? Any gaps? Do you like the look and quality of the chrome covers? Would you recommend them?
Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can offer.

They came on my 03 MCS when I bought it, I personally don't like the look, it looks like there might be the slightest gap caused by the tape raising it up a little bit, just enough to let a little light through... Otherwise, for plastic, they seem fairly sturdy.

while were on the subject... what would be the best way to make all my chrome black without buying new pieces? Paint, Vinyls?

Been wondering this question myself, looking to black out all my chrome real soon and would love to not have to buy all new pieces

Plasti-dip first to see if you like it, then peel it off, scuff it up & paint it.
