A-Panel Graphics....who's got them? Let's see them!

I just added some black carbon fiber strips to the front and back of my Electric Blue mini. I'm thinking about doing the carbon fiber wrap on the A-Panels also. Has anyone ever done this? What's it look like?

Should I wrap my A-Panels, or would that look out of place?

What's everyone's overall opinion on A-Panel graphics/wraps? Good/bad idea?

Thanks!

I say to each his own. I like some and some I don't. As long as you like it go for it. You can always peel it off.
here is mine in reflective black vinyl. Not a wrap I cut it about 1/4'' inset of the A-Panel to be alittle different and added in the MINI logo..

Are you guys taking the a-panels off to cover them, or doing them on the car?

If you are taking them off....can you give me some ideas on how to get them off?? thanks!

I made a program for the vinyl plotter to cut it.
Helps, I work for a sign company and work with vinyl everyday...
Let me know if I can be of help.. I cut and applied all my vinyl.
Everything that is black is vinyl except the "joey modded" headlights..
door handles,A-Panels, Stone Guards, license plate surround, boot handle, headlight rings, Aero-kit indentions front and rear, bonnet checkers, front roof lip.. Some of it is matte black vinyl and some of it is reflective black vinyl

I wound up with the factory checkmate graphic. Had some different ones but after a little accident the insurance company couldn't get the same ones I had and got these instead

I've decided to try wrapping my A-panels with some of the 3M Di-Noc carbon fiber vinyl. I think in order to do it right, I'll need to remove the a-panels before I wrap them. Or is it possible to do them without pulling them off the car.

If the best option is to remove them...is there a DIY post on how to do that? I've searched the NAM forums and I can't seem to find anything.

Thanks!

I did not remove mine. In fact, I only removed the scuttles and the belt line. Both of which just pop right off.

If I did it again, I would remove the wheel arches. There plenty of tutorials on that, just search.

It's a rather simple process. I actually just did the Audi wide mouth look as well. After the first application, you start to get the hang of how the stuff works.

Sure the best wrap would be to take it all off but will take most of the day at that point for both sides. Done in an hour or so if you leave it all on except the scuttles which just pop off.. Which is why I went the inset route and took maybe 30-45 minutes...

I'm assuming that for the scuttles, there is just a clip on the back side I need to slide off, or pop off? And for the molding on the bottom...and around the wheel well.....that just pops off too?

To remove the scuttle moulding/lites, open the hood, then just "pop" them forward. To re-install, do the reverse, but make sure you really pop them in hard.
