Awesome idea! I have heard of putting a bag of ice on top mount intercoolers, but this will definitely save space. My only issue, doesn't the rear washer use the same reservoir as the front ones? Washer fluid is necessary to prevent freezing, but is it a good idea to spray antifreeze into the intercooler? Doubt it hurts, but can not think why it would be good for it.

You're not going to be concerned about IC temps in freezing weather. This mod is of use during hot track duty. I just use a piece of hose and siphon out all the windshield washer fluid from the reservoir and then fill with distilled water.

A hillman 9/16 black nylon hole plug will work great....it will fit perfectly in the stock wiper bung. A little silicone sealant on the backside and voila!! A whopping .43 cents!!!
