A manufacturer would like to make leather shift & e-brake boots in a variety of colors for the MINI. They currently produce them for a wide variety of cars. They would be happy to offer FREE leather boots to someone who will provide their vinyl boots to use as a template. They also will require you to provide installation instructions and pics of the leather boots installed in your MINI. This FREE offer is to the first person willing to provide the manufacturer with the above. If interested contact info@redlinegoods.com
There website is http://www.redlinegoods.com
I don't work for them but I hope someone can take advantage of this opportunity.
Cheers!

I am willing to do it, but how do I know that I won't be scammed out of my boots? But I will definetily do it for the free boots. Do I also get to choose the color? Please find out this information and let me know.

First off, I don't work for them. Yes you can pick the color. You also can pick the thread color. They can even do a two-tone combination. If your interested I suggest you check out their website. Also e-mail them and ask any questions you may have. As far as being scammed it wouldn't make sense for any company to do this. With the web and access to millions of possible customers bad news travels fast. If a company scams someone their reputation would be instantly ruined with a click of the mouse.
That being said check them out. It can't hurt.

I know, and I can read. But the link to e-mail them is broken so maybe there is another way of contacting them. I will try to call them though.

Thanks,

What's weird is all the cars they currently list seem to be pre 1999.

Thanks for the correct link, and it is a little suspect. What do you guys think about the offer.

Thanks,

True, but shift boots have changed much since 1999. Actually if you look closely they make them for Miatas and other cars through 2003.

Today, I replaced the shifter and e-brake boots to match the 2-tone leather seats. They look really nice!

Which color of leather did you go for? Does the charcoal leather match the dark gray of the vinyl boots? How do you like the fit and quality of leather?
Any pics? Thanks for your help.

The one I installed wasn't from the free offer. I purchased the leather and custom made them to match the color of seats. The color of the seats are 2 tone blue/graphite and the boots are blue.
