Wheel Color?

I just got a set of RPF1s and they are all satin black. I have a silver 03 MCS and have all chrome blacked out.
I dislike the black wheels because it makes the wheels look small because its hard to tell where the wheel ends and the tire begins. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON COLORS. Im down for Gunmetal, Graphite, Bronze, Green, Blue, etc...
Please post your opinion. Thanks

Pics of your wheels and your car would help spur discussion I'm sure.

I think silver like the body would look good. It's hard to say if you should go with a non-neutral color like green. There is no color accent on the rest of the car besides red, but I think red would look weird.

OH MAN, those pics came out of nowhere, haha. I agree with you that black blends. I'm starting to hate my black side wheels unless they are freshly cleaned. A friend of mine has them in silver on a DS Mini and they look good. Maybe red or yellow, with the opposing color on the brake calipers?

EDIT: (your link) those are BRIGHT

I like that blue as well. I think you could get away with that or even a lighter, sky blue color. Red/yellow might be too aggressive for the PS color...if that makes any sense...

I'd say match them to the color of the car. My rims are currently being powder coated white to match the roof/mirrors/stripe and cant WAIT for them to be done.

My vote's for the light grey, or the bronze. In my opinion, everything else just says "look at my flashy rims, and not my car".

Body color or an aluminum color.Go with red calipers while your at it (you have so much space between spokes you don't want it to be dark behind them). Silver is a hard car to make look good. But when they do look good, they look great.

I would think about getting the wheel arches and the rest of the black plastic trim pieces done to match the body color. Just my opinion though. I've always had problems with the black trim against the silver.

The calipers WILL be red by the time the wheels get colored. And the car will be lowered in the next couple months

I say be different and 2 tone them. Leave the spokes or just the face of the spokes original color and paint/powder coat the rest of the wheel...
