I just bought a 09 JCW Clubman that doesn't have the universal garage door opener. Can I buy a Mirror with the opener in it and retrofit it to the car easily???? Would prefer to have the auto mirror too!

I would have to keep track of three different remotes in the car if I cannot fit it.

 

Well looking from the 1st gen Mini's this should be do-able. Guess I need to find out how much the Autodimming mirror/Universal Garage is.

 

If you search around here you will find a thread on this exact same subject with all the details you need on how to do it.

I did do a search but not on that term. Thanks for the heads up. Looks like it will work only need to run power to the mirror from the fuse box or jumper the existing harness for the fob receivers for power.
