I am into the black thing too. I have toyed with the idea of putting a 1/2" to 1" black pinstripe under the chrome strip that runs along the bottom of the windows and tie that into a modified stripe on the hood...

are you going to chrome that strip, too?

i was all set to put the stock rally stripes back on (black with white trim)
but changed my mind, i'm gonna put on aftermarket black stripes
anybody want to buy a pair of factory bonnet rally stripes?

This is one of the neatest DS MINI I've seen! I've seen oher 'grey' cars before, but this one really has that black and white illusion in photos. I wonder why?
