I am trying to cover the armrest pad in the new Polar Beige color to match my colorline door armrests. I have taken off one of the door armrests and have scoured the Charlotte and surrounding area interior upholstry shops to no avail.

Everything I have found is a little lighter or a little darker, but no matches. Is there a way to source the actual material that MINI uses to wrap their ColorLine pieces? I only need a small peice.

I have looked at several places online that show their colors, but you can't tell the true color that way. Even RedLine's colors don't appear to be an exact match.

Just getting frustrated.

 

You could do leather... A good upholstery shop should be able to dye or get dyed leather to match just about anything...

 

I was about to give up today, but found one more shop and lo and behold, they had a matching color...................and covered the lid right there on the spot.

Looks great! Really brings some much needed color to the center armrest. Was at the dealer later today, and the parts guy came out and said "That's the way it should come from the factory". To me, that's the best compliment you can get.
