Been looking around...lots of thread with body kits but I got lost. What is/are the differences between the JCW kit, aero kit, JCW aero kit, and the stock body kit? I assume the stock is the textured black plastic all around. I am looking for all that to be body color as it's is a much better look IMO.

Any help on vendors who can provide painted (2011 Eclipse Grey color) and shipped here in the USA other than (I assume much more expensive) dealer?

Of course, pics would make this all a better experience in the answers.

The body kits consist of different bumpers and side skirts. If you want to see what they look like you can just google them. You can get everything body color if you want.

The only place to source them from will be the dealer as they are OEM parts. Morristown MINI will ship and has a great reputation: http://www.minimotoringgear.com/#/?CenterId=null

Its not going to be inexpensive. Round about $2000 or more most likely.

 

The 09 Mellow Yellow JCW has the stock bumpers.
The 08 Grey S has the factory aero kit. You have to order it this way.
The 09 Laser Blue JCW has the JCW aero kit. The wheel arches are matte black. You can paint them if you like.

You can order the jcw from morristown with painted arches.

 

Either way they have to be painted and if you want them painted then the arches are not a rough matte black but a smooth plastic ( totally different part numbers) that is intended to be painted. Any way you do this a paint shop will know what to do.

Its best to NOT order already painted and have a shop do the paint and install. That way the paint on the aero kit can be color matched to the existing paint on the car.
