one of the major vendors our company uses also makes most of the plastic components for the Thule Rack company. i took advantage of a huge, over 50% off discount for my rack system. I was just informed that the parts came in to the company and our driver will be delivering this next week.

i normally do my research long before making purchases but for one, the discount, and two, i've always thought Thule was a big name of quality products.

i've been reading up on some of the issues people have had with the thule systems. should i have any concerns for the kit that bought? my major concerns are window function with the clamps in place, rain guard hold up with the clamps in place, scuff marks on the roof with the fit kit pads.

should i have considered an alternate system? for all the parts i bought my discounted price was just under 300.

 

any chance you still have the kit and not using it? I am in need of one of the foot pads....I hoping that someone would have a used one or the kit not being used...

You should be able to source replacement parts right from Thule. I've done that in the past for several attachments.
