04 - 06 MCS headlight "trim piece"

Hey guys, does anyone know what the purpose of the 2 "semi circle" trim pieces on the scoop side of each headlight assembly?

One of them on my car is a little loose and no matter how I put it back is still feels flimsy, so I think I might have to glue it on. The other one seems on pretty tight.

Are they used in anyway when you change your headlight bulbs?

I thihk you may mean the cover for the headlight washer. It is sometimes a bit flimsy. Turn the lights on and wash your windshield to see them pop up.
