my only upset i have from my recent purchase of a 2005 MCS is that although the previous own had the navi installed he didn't get fogs. i was really looking forward to them.

is they're any way i can buy a new switch cluster that has the fog light switch and a kit that i can install fogs with? i would love the fogs that go on top the bumper in front of the grill.

 

Those are not fog lights, they are driving lights. The factory fog lights are low to the ground at the corners. That is good news. It is very easy to add the driving lights. You can go factory or aftermarket.

the DRIVING lights are the ones by the upper grill and there are factory and several other maker kits.

The "other" are actually easier to install so long as you get the factory brackets, which come with a MINI specific kit or can be found at OUTMOTORING.COM

DL switch was not on the toggle bank so no biggie there ... unless your only reason to want fogs was to fill the toggle bank and THAT'S a different set of threads entirely as many wanted for JUST that reason.....
