Mini set-up for hunting?

My 20 year old pickup truck needs to be replaced and I'm thinking about a Mini Cooper S(JCW). My only concern is my annual pilgrimage to a mid-western state for a couple of weeks of bowhunting whitetails. Anyone here set-up (roof rack/trailor) their Mini for carrying tree stands, coolers, etc.? Any advice?

Build a Trailer from Harbor Freight

If a trailer will work for your hunting locations, I built one from Harbor Freight. Trailer was $150.00, then added a $300.00 chrome box mounted up front leaving the back section for a rack to hold your stands. I have a bike rack which slips into the center post frame like a trailer hitch These little trailers pull like they are not even there often times when motoring having to remind myself of that.

What happens if you get a deer? I wouldn't want a dead one in the back of my MINI.

The roof rack system is only rated for 150 pounds. with all the stands and what not and a good size deer it might max out the weight limmit.
I second the thought of not storing a dead body in my MINI, that is why Cadillac's have such big trunks, not MINI's.

That is a sweet little trailer, I wouldnt mind building one for my Samurai do they have a 35" tire option?
