Stick with Sylvania Silverstars or Silverstar Ultras. You can get away with OSRAM 64217s. That's what I have as my high beams now. They are 65W apiece and produce a great, clear light. They only pull an extra 18% wattage, which should keep from toasting the wiring.

Any colorizing to the bulbs will actually take away from the amount of light you can see on the road. I bough the Hella Xenon XB 100W blue bulbs for my KC 26 series driving lights, and I actually regret the choice. I should have stuck with clear bulbs.

The only way to truly match Xenon (HID) bulbs is to get a conversion kit.
