Headlights speckled, buff it out?

I have been thinking of going back to my OEM xenons, but I hate how my OEMs are all speckled and have tiny little chips in the lense from road debris.

Where could I take them to get this done?
Do you think it could be buffed out somehow?
Anyone ever done this/know how much it will cost?

Let me know if you know anything about this sort of thing!
Thanks.

Get some meguiars plastX. Pits should buff out pretty easily. It'll take 3-5 coats, but its a HUGE improvement. If you have a buffer, even better. Should take 15 min.

I have the same issues but even using my porter-cable and plastic X they wont come out. Really the best thing is to get lamin-x or clear bra for the headlights before it becomes a major issue

I have also heard that plastic headlights are clear coated. When they are buffed out from being yellowed, that they should be re-clear coated or they will soon yellow again. Maybe even quicker than before......

Anyone have info on that ?

Not sure, I buffed my headlights when I first got my car (used - 2004) and it looks much better. 6 months later, they still look good. I park in direct sunlight and its been hot this summer. My last Cooper went a good 2 years and still looked fine.

When I buff my headlights, I always put 2-3 coats of rainX afterwards.
