this is my first thread ever. just became a member today. i have a 06 mini. and i bought four new led bulbs "festoon" from www.superbrightled.com and its for my license plate dome and trunk. the license and the trunk led lights never turn off!!?? it just dimmed? but the dome light works perfectly fine. i dont know what to do? or why it does that? anyway i can make it stop or go away?! or atleast the best website to buy led for a good price?!

 

Next time you turn the car off, go back out after 15 minutes and see if it finally goes off. If not, you're going to have to go to radio shack and get a resistor. You'll have to pull the unit out to get to the wiring, but is a very simple job. I had to put a resistor in my trunk light to keep it from flickering. My license plate LEDs take about 10 minutes to finally go out.
