I am looking to put in a hands free system to connect my Treo 600 to my Head unit

I have an aux kit MINI that I fitted and I can get voice through the speakers just fine ( I have a stock boost head unit)

What I want to do is have the head unit automatically switch from whatever function it might be in (CD/Tuner) to aux if a call comes in. Displaying phone would also be nice but not vital

I see that there is a UK source that is likely to have a control module - does anyone have any experiance with a US source or perhaps have done a kit themselves

any help or pointers would be appreciated

 

I have a similiar desire to do this - what are you doing for a microphone? I understand running the aux cable from the headphone jack of the Treo 600, but unclear how you would than speak into the phone?

the internal mic picks up your voice ok with the aux kit connected to headphone jack. seems to work best if you select speaker phone.

as regards an external mic I trying to extract info from the makers of the treo car kit thb. i am not sure how there system works yet...it looks pretty good but i do not want to use their seperate speaker
