the 2010 owner's manual is different. . . . says that tires MAY be rotated between axles. It seems that MINI has changed their position.

 

"May" be rotated. Interesting. Like they're giving us permission to do it, but it's still not recommended. Will they change it again on the 2011 manual?

 

agreed. . . . permissive language means the owner/driver makes the decision to rotate or not. Not really helpful, if you ask me. I have been wondering why they changed the language in the manuals . . . It can be frustrating when owners of MINIs from different years try to have an informed conversation!
