I'm getting my mini in a couple weeks and my first mod will be installing my Valentine 1. Where did you guys put the remote display? Any custom installs? I'll probably just 3m double stick tape it somewhere...but where is the question...
Also, I was planning on hardwiring it to the fuse box again...any links to that?

No one has installed the remote display?!
The remote display is one of the best things about owning a V1.

 

I have a remote display that I use only when I have to drive through a state that doesn't allow radar detectors. I generally place my detector low to the dash, throw a ball cap up over it and keep the remote down by the power lead. But for me its only a temporary thing, infrequently used.

I love that remote! You can put it somewhere nice and convenient so you don't have to reach for the main unit everytime you want to mute it and it can be placed more in your line of site, and the best part is it turns off the lights on the main unit so no one behind you knows you even have a radar detector. The remote, the arrows, and the rear radar are the best things about the V1 in my opinion. :smile:
