I want to add LED lighting tied into my Fog Lights so that when I flip the Fog Toggle inside both the Fog lights and the LED lights come on at the same time. I looked at the wiring harness that goes to the fog light and it has a brown wire and a yellow/brown wire.

I am assuming that the brown is the ground and the yellow/brown is the positive, but can anyone confirm that?

Also if I just splice in the LED lights onto those wires, is there any concerns that I should worry about?

Post a Pic - My R53 looks great with LEDs, lets see what they looks like on your R56.

As for your questions: I don't know if the wiring between an R53 & R56 are the same. I have been running my LEDs spliced into my Parking/Turn Signal lights (New Mini Stuff Angel Eyes) for a while now without any problems.
