Hello all,
I have an 02 Mini S and was thinking about upgrading the stock headlights with a pair of these. After looking through forums I haven't come across anyone saying much about these. Reading descriptions, they are a direct replacement to the stock.

My question is, how is the install? Easy, Medium or Hard(professional Required)? Also if the connections pretty much the same or would it require additional wiring? Also if anyone has had any luck wiether be good or bad let me know. Thanks!

Do a search. There are PLENTY of these threads. I even made one. I'm on my iPhone, so I'm not going to link. But on a quick note, yes, they are easy to install. The actual high and low beam light connectors are plug and play. You just have to hook the halos and if you want, the extra set of little lights to their own wiring. Most people splice into the parking lights down in the bumper.

 

Cool, thank you. Just what I wanted to hear. I appreciate your answer on this. Also is there any particular brand you recommend? I did a google search and there is quite a few just don't know who might be resectable to buy from.

 

The ones I got are from a company called Spyder. I paid $180 for mine a couple of years ago. These are the same, and I repeat the same ones that Moss MINI sells for over $300. Ask the sellers on Ebay if they are from Spyder. There might be some other brands out, but I'm not sure. The quality of these is quite nice. I haven't had a problem yet besides one of the halos going out, but was an easy fix. I have a how to for fixing this in the how to section. Any more questions, feel free to ask.
