Here is my update 2nd email to racing guys still no response
So today I sent them a message directly thru the ebay sale
Looking on ebay.. they are not the only guys in town with that style grill
lot of price differances too

Still dont know what to do on my car I have the Chrome and Silver Contrasting with the Space Blue Thinking Chrome surround blacked out insert

 

forget the group buy....just get it. it's not that much.

I emailed them about fitment. I'm going to give them a day or 2 then I'll just buy it and do a review on here. No group buy has been set up because the guys never got back to the emails about it yet. Even if you don't do a group buy, its only $75.

 

i pulled the trigger on one from a different seller. I will let you all know how it goes...

 

I just bought the one from racer_guys on eBay. Should be here in a week or so. I'll let everyone know how fitment is, post some pics, and if I needed to make any modifications, I'll let you know how I did it.

 

Ok I had to stop lurking just for this thread... I installed this grille On my neighbors (Peanut) 2002 MCS and the fit is terrible, as a matter of fact the lower one didn't fit at all and we are at a loss. YMMV

 

I'm sorry to hear that, because this one (in chrome) was the one that I thought looked best.

I guess the stock slats in chrome, then, unless the couple brave souls on this thread who bought them report better results....

I was going to buy the same grille fom racing guys buy decided to keep the chrome trim but paint the rest of the grille black. Will post pics.

 

Thanks for the info. From what I hear the later years had better fitment than the 02 or 03. I'm hoping I dont have to go through a bunch of BS with it. We'll see though. 6 days and counting until I get it.

Perhaps the lower grill has to be modified like the aero grill. ie, cutting it down to fit.. ??
