Remove Air Vent from under the seat?

Under the passenger seat. There is some air vent thing that makes a bulge on my setup. Take a look....
(Excuse the sand. just came back from the beach lol.)

I took a picture of the vent itself, but idk where the pic went, oh well. It's under the seat though. How do i take it out?

I'm just guessing..

but take off the sill covers, then pull up the carpet and pad. Then take out whatever you want!

I don't know...

I haven't done what you're doing. I just did some work installing a race computer and doing some wire routing for a video install. Anyway, I'd come at it from the side, and see if there's someplace to conviniently disconnect or cut what's bugging you.

Or you can just go at it from the top and cut off what's not flush. This is a task of discovery, kind of like exploratory surgery!
