I've been reading the many threads and that seems the way to go if i want to DIY. i don't want to pay a shop to do the work, so i will do it with PlastiDip. but i don't know about taking off my bumper to get to the lower grill and fogs. So i will have to figure something out. As for the wheels, i will also Plasti Dip them as some others have done that and it is working for them still. I'll post pics after i do it. but i have to wait for the weather to warm up here as in Switzerland it is still -7 degrees now! thanks again for sharing your pics and mods as i really know what mine will look like when it is done.

hey...nice trip Nurburgring!! is it true it costs like only Euro 22 to run the track? I was tempted to drive my Porsche up there when i bought it to try it around the track, but never did. there were some Porsche sponsored excursions up that way as a group but was too pricey at Euro 1200/person.

i'm sure you will have a blast up there!

my last long road trip was in my Porsche from Swiss down to Venice last year in April. loved doing 220 km/h on the autoroute with the roof open just watch out for the photo radars, dude when you are in France and Germany.

Thanks for the heads up about the Photo radars there. My TOM TOM goes off like crazy when Im around one, THANK YOU TOM TOM lol. I've read on their site that's its like 22 Euro to run on the track. Also that you can get a day pass to. I think it's less than 22 Euro to take a lap on the 14 mile long beast. I know you can rent a BMW for about 150 Euro for like 5 laps. Something like that. I haven't read their website for some time now. Also to answer your question about the picture, it's because im a Alliance member.

james...now that is a sweet ride!! GT3? what color? the green or orange? And why do you have a Mini if you have a GT3? buy the new GT3 hybid for your car in the States. or the new 911 Turbo S came out now too. I'm surprised Porsche is going to the hybrid cars...but seems all luxury high end performance cars are.

i was just at the Geneve auto salon and they showed the new 918 Spyder. that is one sweet car, i would like on my shopping list. plus i love the new GT3 grey color with red accents. I had up till January 2010 (very sad to sell it) a 2007 Porsche but had to sell it due to bad business right now. i will get another one when business comes back up. hitting us pretty bad here in Switzerland.
