Hi, I recently got an 04 cooper s and it came with the factory roof racks. i wanted to know if they made a plug for the holes if you choose to remove the racks. i called my local bmw dealer and they said they didnt make one. any help is appreciated!

It should have come with four covers that slide over the metal discs. Check your glovebox. They came in black, white or chrome I believe. The dealer should be able to get you a set if you don't have them. People have said that they tend to fly off while driving at speed but I haven't had a problem with mine. I think that it might be because they slide them on backwards or that they've loosened with agae. The only problem that I've had is one cracking in the winter time after washing the car. Here's some pictures.

It looks like the chrome are extra $. I've got a silver roof with black caps and I think that it looks great.
