Hi all,

I haven't actually picked up my MINI yet (due this week!!!) but I am looking to get the wheel arches painted. Is the best way to do it by removing them? Do they even come off? Obviously I havent had the chance to really look at it but I was hopeing that some of you with painted arches could step in with some helpful advice.

check out this post. it has the info you want. you will have to take them off. and it is easy. 6 bolts and a few clips. pm me if you have any questions i also have photos of it all in stages. i also have a spare set of wheel lips i could sell you so you could have them painted and ready to install when you car gets here. 30 bucks plus shipping. good luck

Thanks for the info guys! I had seen that thread before, after a search, but I must have missed some of the particulars.

And yes the excitement level is agonizingly high.
