Interior/Exterior Which driving lights should I get?
>>I have not seen anyone talk about the driving lights I have: They are Cibie Type 40-Tango.
...but I'm pretty sure Stern has them. I think they also come in black powder coat in addition to chrome. One thing I like about them way better than the low quality junk MINI wanted to sell me is that the Cibies do not shake-rattle-and-roll on their mounts with road and motor vibrations.
>>
>>Plus they came with cool "CIBIE" covers
Daniel Stern carries them. $69 each for black housings, $76 each for chrome housings. Also available in a fog light beam pattern.
See here (another vendor) for some specs:

How do these CIBIE lights mount, do they come with a bracket, which is hidden behind the grille, or do you have to do some exterior drilling? They look great, and what about wiring harnesses? Does anyone have a number for this Stern guy?

The lights mount just like the factory driving lights or the PIAAs (or most other aftermarket lights). The pictures 2 posts up will detail how they mount. You will need a bracket (Mini, PIAA, Mini-Madness, or other...) or you can design your own mounting system.
I don't know if they come with harness or a switch. You might have to construct your own or purchase it from one of the above mentioned vendors.
