Have any of you installed aftermarket seats in your MINI using univ. rails or modifying your factory rails?? Im looking at some seats and none make seat rails to fit the MINI. If you have, was there alot of work involved? Can you posts pics of your aftermarket seats?

over thanksgiving, i'll be trying to mount summit racing seats (12.5 lb each) in my mcs using the stock rails.

i'm planning on separating the stock seats and adjusting claptrap from the stock rails. so far, it looks like the seats are held onto the rails by 4 fasteners, about 5 mm diameter. i'll post pictures if this works.

Please let me know how it goes. I'll be waiting for them pics.... My dad wants to give me the seats out of his 350Z (He is getting some diffrent ones for his car.) I want to put them in my Cooper, but dont know if its worth the trouble. What does every one else think??
