Interior/Exterior Rally (Driving) Lights - Need Suggestions
>>Where did u get those PIAA mini cooper lights fo sooo cheap?
>>Cheapest i found is 250.00.
I got them on e-bay and there are more on there now. When I searched i searched for 5430 piaa and the box i got today says 540 on it and has a picture of a MINI Cooper on it. "Kit contains two 540 Xtreme white driving lamps with custom mounting brackets and two mesh style covers, one complete wiring harness with relay and switch, and installatgion hardwae. Seller was 718mitc (I don't know him/her) feedback rating 99.8% and I got what I paid for in a timly manner.
I just went to e-bay (11-25 at 8:47 p.m. PST) typed in 540 piaa in the search and it is the second item down. He was out of them when I e-mailed him off of another item he was selling and he got them for me.

>>Wher edid you get them ??
>>
>> I can get two for about $70 - shipped from England. (Mini mania has them on their classic Mini site for a bit more $). Do an ebay search for "WIPAC" and you find some pix.
I found a guy on ebay. It turns out to be a site called http://www.planetmini.net, dedicated to classic Minis (in the UK). I e-mailed him about stuff he had up for bid... do a search for WIPAC on ebay you can find two different people seeling Wipac spot lights. I have not actually ordered them yet - my wife is about to have a baby any time now (literally) and ordering these lights is a little lower priority today
The WIPAC lights are pretty classic (a lot of the classic Minis came with them). They are made in England and a lot cheaper than many other brands. I love the fact that the WIPAC lights have the old school cover with the Wipac logo - just like the old Minis. FYI, Moss motors has some very cool lights on their classic site (not Moss MINI) for good prices too.

the car is my gf's car ~sugar~
the lights are the ones from the dealership, we have a small issue with the brackets. there are 3 places for rivets, but only 2 holes are on a flat surface. We still have yet to put in the last rivet, so they bounce around, but they aren't loose.
The shine, we used Zymol we got a package deal with like a pre-wax cleaner, and then a wax. Spent 3 hours this past weekend waxing up.

>>IPF also makes some pretty decent lights. They're imported to the US by ARB (of Australia?) so check out 4wd places....
