Hi guys,

I have a question regarding aftermarket tail lights for my cooper s R56.
I am wanting to get a set for my r56.

Are the tail lights exactly the same (besides the chrome surround) as the old cooper S's? Because i have not seen ANY aftermarket tail lights for the r56?

 

No, the lights are completely different and will not fit.

 

Any part will fit any car. It depends on what you are willing to do to make it fit is what customizing is all about

The only thing you can do as far as tailights are the clear turn signal ones from mini. I switched over to them and love mine! Besides, IMO there are no great looking aftermarket tails for minis.

There were some sweet looking CF tail lights I saw for the R56's on a Japanese site. I don't remember which page I saw them on ...it was about a month or so ago:
