Interior/Exterior Clear protective overlay...?
Anyone tried these clear overlays to protect the paint on the front end? I know there is more than one option..any suggestions? 2-small chips in 800miles I am going to look into it
Thanks for any responses..

I have had the 3M version of clear bra on my Audi A6 for four years. No chips and no problems. It
does have a definite line across the hood. Dark colors show the ridge lines. I have Dark Silver S Cooper with the clear
bra on the lower part and you really need to look carefully to see any edges. I find that the cost of installation
to be the biggest disadvantage.

My dealer uses something called roadblock. I dont think they did the best job installing it, but you only notice when you know what to look for and you get close, otherwise it's not that bad.
I only have 800 miles now so I cant vouch for any scratches/chips, but most of the bugs that hit the car end up on the area that is covered by the clear bra, or the hood scoop, and very few on the window. But it does work good for bugs, keeps em off the paint.
In my opinion, why not, it'll only be about $400 installed depending on what you get and where you go.
