I do not have DSC, but if I get a new switch bank with a DSC switch and a Fog Light switch, can I wire my aftermarket (minimadness) rally lights to the DSC switch?

I would love to be able to use all the switches in the console to control the lights.

Any ideas?

 

I doubt it, the switches in teh switch bank are E-switches.

i.e. they are software controlled switches, and NOT real electrical switches that you can wire to.

So unless you can hack the ECU software, I think it's a no.

Dont be so hasty. I plan on doing virtually the same thing. But I wouldnt use DSC because even if you dont have DSC you do have ASC (for an MCS at least). I am going to try with the rear fog light switch.

Yes you do have to get the dealer to activate the switch (see Greatbear's excellent how-to about the install of the rear fog lights)
Yes you probably need to have the switch activate a relay bu you should be able to re-route the line after the relay and send it to the driving lights and not the rear fogs. However, since I have not ACTUALLY done this yet, take this comment with a Gibralter hunk of salt.
