What type and size of gauges have you installed in the stock (oem) gauge mount that goes into the space between the tubes? I would like either the white faced (autometer?) or the black faced (VDO?) with the orange needle and lights. I can't see spending five hundred dolars for the Alta package. They look great but $500 seems very high, especially since the oem mount is so cheap. While we are on the subject-which gauges do you have? I am thinking about the oil pressure, and voltage. I think the boost gauge is cool, but not in place of something more functional.

 

The OEM mount holds two 2-1/16" gauges perfrectly, no gaps!

I would look at the VDO and/or Autometer oil pressure and boost gauges from Summitracing.com or Jegs.com for the MCS...
