I ordered mid march and still haven't gotten my emblem covers. I sent an email a week ago and haven't heard anything. Should I be getting worried lol.

Man I'm in the same boat, its a bunch of BS. AC has had my money since the first week in March and still no parts. I understood that it would take UP to 6 weeks, but its about to be three times that lead time period and counting!!! I made a thermoforming machine to mold plastic as my senior design project, if I only I was still near my school, I'd making these myself...

I ordered a full set of gloss black parts on February 27 at which time my credit card was charged.

On Monday, July 6, I received this email from Mike Syfritt - "I think we are good. Your stuff should be going out this week.

Cheers"

4 MONTHS 2 WEEKS.....STILL NO PARTS

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED....

On May 27th I ordered a set of flat black keyless handles. 6-8 weeks puts me at 8 weeks this Wednesday assuming I can count. Figure I'll give them a call. Can't wait for the handles to complete my black out look! Then I just need darker rims than stock S-Lites...

For me it's FOUR MONTHS since I was billed. In return I have received multiple "Be patient" emails.

why is it that there is a 6-8 week waiting period?

are they built to order (no inventory?) to keep their costs low?

That is so sad that you are waiting so long. The only things I know so far is it is only him and his wife filling orders and custom designing/printing/shipping them as well. but i am a web/graphic designer and even though it takes time i work on multiple projects at once so it shouldnt take that long!

You would think they have molds made up so if they get an order they could pour up the mold, let it dry then prep and paint it. I've been waiting for 4 months and 4 days, but I understand that they would have a lot going on as its just two of them.

Called the number on their website on Saturday to ask about my order. Appears there was a death in the family. Felt bad to even leave a message. Going to call back on Monday.

i am over six months since my $420 order was placed and charged with AC. Still nothing. Although I am still holding on to some sliver of hope for delivery, each day it gets harder and harder not to file a claim with me CC.

if you are anxious at 3 months, if i were you, i would bail now. if you still can.

:rant on:
That's crazy! I was told no refund due to wait times, so unless I start bugging him incessantly, I'm probably SOL, and not that kind of person (complaining on an online forum is another thing entirely). I basically got from my phone conversation with him that I was supposed to read a buried FAQ page and understand all of the terms and conditions on the sale. Having information design classes under my belt, I'd say that's not exactly good practice...

I paid via PayPal, and I'm past the 45 days to open a complaint where they'll take action, but I believe if multiple complaints are opened, they'll look as far back as 180 days.

---

It sickens me to hear that some people get decent turn around, and then the rest of us essentially give small 0% interest loans till we get our products months later.

This will be changed in a day or so to reflect new information.

We are always improving product to make it better But Bitching about it on NAM and not Contacting me using any means available is Childish And rediculous. If you had called me instead of Crying on NAM about it you would have got a solution or replacement. Since you stuck them to the car before even test fitting them there is nothing I can for you. That is not my fault and you should have used some patience which it seems that most of NAM lacks.

Now for an explanation to the VERY small amount of chrome showing. First off you only see that if your are seriously standing directly over the handle and no where else. Second. I trim these parts and test them on my car before they go out. They fit perfect on my car and may fit perfect on several others but there is now way to tell. At AMVIV I put the same set on 4 or five different cars and some had very little chrome some has more and some had non showing. My conclusion is it's not my "Inferior Product" But MINI's manufacturing. The door handles are bolted on by a person or several. So how it fits on the car depends on how it was installed and tightened down.

Solution: The rest of the parts that go out will include a small half inch wide Flat black tape to put over the rubber seal and chrome. It matches the color of the rubber seal so It will work for all door handles even the Body color kits.
Lil Blue Coop/Mini Rose

Now to cover time frames. As of today I counted over 150 parts I have to make and the orders keep coming in. I'm in the shop all week working on these parts. I'm making double the amount of Molds so I can make more parts. Same thing MINI did when they shut down the factory to retool it for the R56. but I'm still only one person making these parts so you will get them when I make them.
Crying about how long it's taking on NAM is not going to get you the parts any faster. So sit back and take a drive somewhere. Get off this God foresaken Forum and do something.

If you have any questions then CALL me. I will not be answering my email so I can work on these parts.

Cheers
