I'm working on hooking up my phone(plays MP3s) to my aux input, but I also have XM radio to it. I'd like to get one of the stock switches for a 2004 cooper S to allow me to switch between the two sources. Does anyone know where I can get one of these?

The last time this question came up, the best suggestion I saw was to go to your local pick-your-part place (auto-wreckers) and get one off a scrapped MINI. Way less expensive than ordering one from MINI directly.

You can contact outmotoring.com as well. Also realoem has them. I believe they are $10.

I got mine from outmotoring when I ordered the rear fog lights. They charge $10 for the switch.

 

Keep in mind that the toggles on the R53 are not real switches. They are simply decorative plastic levers that depress microswitches on an underlying printed circuit board. If you want a true electromechanical switch you'll have to look elsewhere, and believe me I tried and found nothing even close.
