The head light rings are clipped and double sided tapped on there. All you have to do is take the light off the car and pry the ring off.

Brendan, with the right tool (I borrowed Agro's -a ballhead torx wrench?) and once you have the trick, both doors can take less than an hour. I can help if you need.

That said, I'm not familiar with the plastic covers so I can't compare difficulty or fit.
