I'm thinking of redoing my side decals. However, I believe I can cut the lettering myself(pretty much a solid black middle with thin outside stripes and "Mini Clubman" cut out of the solid middle so that the body color shows through). Local vinyl store charges $1/inch. Seeing as how I need 63 inches per side, that's $126 for both sides-that seems extreme for just solid vinyl that I'll be cutting the design myself. Where do you guys purchase vinyl rolls and what kind specifically?

 

I work at a sign shop and should be able to cut that for you for around 60 bucks. I wouldn't suggest buying an entire roll, and definately wouldnt cut it by hand!

I've purchased 3M vinyl rolls from Beacon Graphics.

I even got some of their color books, and found one that will match laser blue. there's a few other colors that look like they'd match other mini colors, but i don't have a mini to compare them to.
