Interior/Exterior Need more comfortable seats
I have found that routine use of a CGLock increases seat comfort significantly. Snugging down the lap belt keeps you from sliding around in the seat and avoids having to strain to maintain position during braking or hard cornering. Being firmly anchored in the seat reduces fatigue noticeably, particularly on longer trips. Meanwhile your upper body can still lean forward as normal to reach controls instead of being pinioned to the seatback as you would be with a 4-point racing harness. The CG Lock is a very clever and effective device for everyday motoring, not as radical but far more practical than a full-on racing harness.
There are Sparco Evo seats (like in post #8 above) for sale on NAM Marketplace.
I had also raised the front of my seat rails about a half inch.
My old Chrysler (in addition to seat 'rake' power adjustment) had "CG" type lock on buckle.
It also had a 'tension relief' built in to the shoulder belts, I was spoiled by one very comfortable car,
for the twenty years prior to my MINI.
This was why I went so far to make my MINI seating comfortable.

Just did the driver's side and slapped a resistor in the airbag circuit. No problems 2 years later.
Remove the front bolts. Loosen the rear ones, put hardware store nylon spacers or washers under the front bolts, and replace with 10mm longer bolts, grade 8 or better. Any Ace hardware store has a selection of spacers and metric bolts. The 1st-gen seats take a Torx T-40.
