Thanks, I have the HID kit installed in my current lights. I just don't like the original light housings the car came with. It looks old and dated.

I'm working on a project to retro fit TSX projectors on those Halo Headlights. Just haven't started it yet.

Quick question, how would you replace the angel eye rings if they burned out?

On the light housing itself, there are big rubber plugs that you pull off to gain access to the lights. One of these is for the LEDs. Once you pull it off, you can see the bottom of the halo ring. There is a grommit fitted into the bottom of the halo ring. Just carefully pop it out, and you'll see that there are 2 LEDS attached to the wiring. There aren't any LEDs sold exclusively to replace these, so you would have to find your own, which is not a problem at all. LEDs last a long time though.

I'm not a fanboy for Moss, but their prices are consistently less expensive than MiniMania, and they stand behind their product, which I doubt you would get off eBay.

Of course, they don't offer "Sincere Customer Service".

They also claim to have never received ANY of my returned merchandise and refused to credit my account, but oh wells! I've found NewMINIstuff.com to be a great alternative and cheaper prices.

ie my new LED tails for ~$250 shipped.....compared to the $360 + shipping at MossMINI Pretty impressive since newministuff is shipping from England.

seems to me a lot of the items for are car are cheaper if ordered over seas. I can get a JCW intake for $300 shipped from german ebay, or a cf dash for $350 shipped from the same. Pretty kill prices when compared to the places in the usa.

Those of you with the HID versions, could you tell me where you mounted the ballasts? I have my current ones mounted under the headlight, but you need to position it PERFECTLY for the bonnet to close. I would like to keep them attached to the bonnet if possible for obvious reasons.

Thanks!

Here you go. Only place I could find to place it where the bonnet would close. Unless there is another place which is easier/more convenient to fit? I had to open and close my bonnet 100 times to get the position right! Do not feel like going through that again.

They have ballasts now that are much smaller. What does your cut offs look like? Got pics of the head lights / halos on?

The ballasts that came with are exactly the same, word for word on the stickers even I'm going to put them on now. I'll post pics as soon as I'm done!

I used 3M double tape to hold mine to the bottom of the light. Then I shortened all the wires and hid them in black loom. I love these lights with HIDs! The light output is great and the cut off is clean.

These headlights use H1 type bulbs. Fairly easy to setup.

Professor, would you mind taking a more up close image for me of each of the ballasts? I want an approximate location of where you mounted them. Thanks!

Only H1 bulbs can fit in there? Would a DS2 bulb fit?

Ok thanks! Much appreciated. Did you have to extend your angel eye ring cable to reach the parking light wires?
