Interior/Exterior Parking light color comparo
Parking light color comparo
Okay, the **** retentive in me hated the halogen bulbs in the parking light housing. Too brown and dull.
I already replaced my fogs with yellow bulbs for increased bad weather visibility and a look more like a Lexus with the HID headlights, so I tried white LEDs and yellow bulbs in the parking lamps.
The white LEDs. You can get those blue tinted 'xenon style' bulbs and it will offer pretty much the same color.

OK!
The parking lights are 194's and the fogs are H8's.
I got the 194's from this site:
http://superbrightleds.com/specs/bulb_specsHP.htm
Dealt with them several times and it's been a positive experience.
A few notes though, with using LEDs in the parking lights:
1) the WHP6 is too wide to fit in the housing. I went with the WHP9 and that was about at the point of fitting. Another difficulty is that they are a bit jiggly compared to normal halogens- you may want to use a little tape to make sure they stay put.
2) Using LEDs means the lights are not drawing as much current as they used to, so you get the bulb out warning indicator when you start the car.
This is why I suggest maybe looking for a 'hyper white' or 'xenon look' type 194 wedge bulb that is simply a halogen bulb with a blue coating. It will offer the same color without any of the drama.
The fogs I got on eBay, they were 'Nokya' brand. Very cheap, used them before for bright lights on my old car. I figure it's worth a shot to try that color and not spend a lot of money on bulbs. PIAA H8 yellow bulbs are more expensive, but are a more respected brand, so it's a toss up.
I've used them now for a few months and have had zero problems. I don't use them all the time, mind you, but when the opportunity presents itself, they haven't given me problems. Knock on wood.
