Orciari seat surrounds

Do they add any support or are they purely aesthetic?

A combination of the both. they are supposed to make the seat back a little stiffer with less flex, and compliment any other Orciari accessories in your car.

Don't they add a little more to the shoulder area? Kind of like a race seat.
