Ok, so I buy some mirror caps from a local guy and get them painted red to go with the red lip on my new Rota's. Well, ******* does not check to see if they will fit before they get painted. I try to fit them today and they don't fit. I have the folding mirrors on the 09 and the used ones look close but one of the clips is at a different angle then the one I took off the car. Can I just Dremel out the parts that are in the way? I can get part numbers but I do not have them in front of me. Moral of the story, check the fit before you get anything painted!

 

If you wanted to seel them here on NAM, you would not have a problem finding a buyer.

There have been many threads over the past couple years from people looking to buy Chili Red caps. Trust me, I was one of them before I just went ahead and bought new caps and had them professionally painted.

 

I might do that, but I am dying to put them on and see how they look.
Plus, they are painted a red that matches the lip on the wheels, not an exact Chili Red.
