I am starting to really not like my interior due to incessant noise. I've had the dash serviced and such but it seems like a bigger issue. So, here's my question: Does anyone have any recos for how to outfit the interior to reduce noise?

In particular:

-Suggestions for replacements for the stock plastic downtubes? Something that looks decent and doesn't make that god-awful crackling noise?

-Ideas for replacing the plastic molds around the shift, the cupholders, etc in front of the console? That plastic crackles like crazy too. Or I wouldnt mind a wholesale replacement down there either.

Personal ideas or things you've done, or links to sites where I can buy kits and/or links to LA-area shops that will do this kind of thing would be great.

you could get the leather dash and down tubes. Then i would think it wouldn't squeak or rattle. You could also get a completely custom interior...

you can find them at morristown mini... or any vendor that sells the JCW dash kits.
Also maybe contact Pete at Minspeed, I know they used to do custom interior for a really decent price.. anyway he could for sure help you out.
