187 on my tail lights

I've blacked out most of the chrome on my 03 MCS. I havent touched the tail lights yet. Do you have to open them up like the Joey mod or what??? Anyone got any suggestions on this thing

dremel the glue a little, maybe an inch or 2. wedge in a butterknife/putty knife/pair of screwdrivers/etc. take your pick.

SLOWLY inch along the edge of the plastic lens and crack the glue.

now you have access to the insides. do what you want to the chrome.

seal back up with rtv.

I used the screwdriver method and cracked my lens. On the second set I dremeled the entire thing and it came off quite nice. Here is a pic of it finished.
