Was looking at CTD's speedo&tach in various colors and was interested in it until I did the conversion and found they were nearly $70.00

Then I thought that it would be cool to have a custom tach/speedo. Anyone else interested in this? either stock color or custom? Was going to look into doing this but didn't want to take apart the dash to have a look at the layouts if only I was interested.

Let me know what you think!

I ordered them from CTD 2 months ago (pre-order) and am still awaiting them. (if they read this contact me ASAP you've ignored my emails)

I hope they are as cool as I have envisioned or I'm going to be mad.

If you are talking about the colored faces (inserts), YES, I would be very interested, but so far they are only offering the speedo face in km/h units, not mph.

I would love to get a set of tach and speedo faces in black with the white numerals, if they are available in mph.

PM me if you decide to pursue this.

Markus

CTD folks,
great to see you online here at MCO!
You have some cool stuff on your website.

Any chance the colored speedo dial may eventually be offered with MPH (vs Km/h)?

Thanks in advance for your response,

Tschuess,
Markus

Hello,

I have a question...CTD people.
I'm extremely interested in the rings for the speedo tach, speakers...etc
But.......I do not want them in chrome.
I would like them all in... Gloss Black
Any chance of these being produced ?????

Peace,
D

CTD,
Very nice! I agree with koolmini that pictures of the guages installed would be very helpful. Maybe night shots with the guages lit?

I'm waiting to see to, as having removed the tach to look at the gauge face and the illuminating. This isn't a simple mod. The face can only illuminate at the numbers and symbols and not in the background as it illuminates sporadically and only portions and looks like CRAP! So as everyone has asked, let's see a picture of them installed and lit up at night.

If it's taking THEM three weeks and counting to install and take pictures, just imagine how long it will take us!

Personally, I wouldn't buy anything from these guys. They post pics of exciting new stuff on this forum, and then don't answer the logical questions that come up. And they don't seem to support their products at all once they're out the door - no help for people who post install questions here after receiving no directions with their order. I really like their metal bonnet vent covers, but I'll try to find them somewhere else.

As soon as you have black ones, I will order a set.
Any idea when the balck ones will be available?

Thanks!

I wouldn't order them until I see them in a MINI, at night, illuminated. I'd settle for seeing a kph model illuminated. I'm sure that's not asking to much. Right now, I'm thinking this is just a 'looks good as a glossy picture' item. But maybe CTD will prove me wrong

this might look OK in the daytime..but at night I imagine it will look awfull. The LEDS's behind the template are amber for the numbers and hatch marks...and red for the redline section of the tach.

Also the needle itself is orange..so you'll have..let's say..a red faceplate template w/ amber numbers and red redline indicators...I dont think you will see the numbers clearly at all without the contrast of amber/red and white.

or you can have blue faceplate with amber numbers (I guess that woul look better and offer more contrast) but you still are illuminating the gauge face with 3 amber LED's that are at the base of the needle..which doesnt seem like it would show up well on the blue faceplate.

I bet this why you havnt seen any pics yet. Doesnt seem like they thought this one thru first. just my .02 anyway

I swaped my LED's for blue ones and it looks great against the white template..
