DIY help - removing the passenger side dash color line?

Hi all,

I took my 08 MCS in to get a secret compartment rattle fixed, and they ended up replacing the whole compartment. However, when they put the dash back together, they missed snapping in the color line trim piece into a plastic clip in the middle of it when they reassemblied it, so it's not flush with the rest of the dash. I'm kicking myself that I didn't notice it before I left (dealer is 5 hr roundtrip away). :(

I was wondering if anyone could help me and let me know how to get the passenger's side color line piece out, so I can realign it and put it back correctly. I got so far as getting the 3 screws out of the bottom of it that attach in the glove box, but didn't know if i needed to take off the side airvent cover and how to do that without breaking plastic pieces, so i stopped before i broke something.

I saw mention of a PDF file on deassembling the dash on the forum, but couldn't find it anymore. Help please! Thanks!!

There is pdf in this post on taking the dash apart. I think you should be able to find the pertinent instructions just to get the passenger color line piece out.
