New MINI, window moves on its own. normal?

So I finally got delivery of my new MINI. When I open up the door, the windows move a very small amount down and back up again. Is it supposed to do this and if not, can I do anything about it besides taking it back to the dealer? Thanks!

it's to relieve pressure inside the cabin when you close the door, iirc.

Yea its quite normal, surprised me a bit when I first got it. I don't believe its to relieve the pressure though, the windows would catch on the trim if they didn't lower, very common design on convertibles, this is the first hard top I've ever seen that does it. I think it just makes for a better fit on frameless doors.

it is a work around to a door that has no frame around the top. This prevents wind noise as it tucks it into the roof seal.

I imagine they learned the trick from BMW, they've been doing this for years.
